To All Freelance Photographers:

Thank you for your interest in being published in Our State! I’m always looking for new and undiscovered talent for the magazine. Please keep in mind the photographic strength of Our State has made it very competitive among professional photographers to be published here.

We have removed the Photographic Wants List from our web site, and we are moving strongly toward custom photography by assigned photographers. At times, I will build a story with stock imagery, and I will email a specific call for stock photographs to my select list of shooters.

If you would like to be added to this list of photographers, either email or post on online portfolio for me to review along with a list of North Carolina subjects you have strong stock imagery on. From here, I’ll make a determination whether or not to place you the list. Don’t get discouraged if at first you do not make the list. Stay in touch and keep sending me links to new work.

I look forward to seeing your work and possibly working with you in the near future.
